How to shoot the Best shooter / Dropper / Sneaker

who is flying in better/top plane

if you are still learning or not shooting well.
  • Enable team chat as only your team should know what you are planning.
  • Always fly in pair or all together as team. The more you are in group the better is the chance to get the enemy.
  • If you get shot down, don’t go directly in firing line again unless the enemy is near your base/carrier.
  • Take off and wait for your team member.
  • Go for the best enemy shooter or whoever comes first.
  • Decide in team chat whom to target and all fire on same plane.
  • Don’t get disappointed if unsuccessful. Keep trying.
  • Once you perfect your aiming, you become a single man army but always remember going as team will help you win.
Looking for more tips on team building from esteem members.

  • Fly next to each other, but at a reasonable large distance in between. Try to crossfire, by shooting at an incoming enemy from two sides.
  • Learn where to aim in front of the red, when he's targeting your teammate.
  • By doing so you assist each other against better pilots in better planes.

Contribution by Templar - Thank You Sir
  • When I take off I always look to see who and where my team is in front, behind or beside me..use your screen to do a 360 by using mouse or pointer.
  • I then position myself opposite for example, If you are flying high and to my left I will go low and to right etc...if there are 2 or more of my team with me I try to "triangulate" my position...again, opposite of where my team mates are.
  • My main objective for this is it's harder for the enemy to have fast target acquisition of ME...if you are close or on the same horizon point as your wingman, its easy for the enemy to acquire you after he shoots your wingman. Its much harder for him to drop down at an angle and acquire you.
  • Always change it up too, this throws off their anticipation on the next run.
  • *Pay attention to your wingmen.
  • *Pay attention to your position.
  • *Pay attention to which RED is NOT in the next run. If they are missing they're sneaking..I will often self destruct, climb to 400 or so feet, circle and wait...
  • *Use the landscape!
  • *My number one piece of advice is BE the Quarterback! Play it like Football! NEVER the same play twice!!!

Great stuff Blue! I love flying in formation..however, I don't like flying too close to my team, especially on the same horizontal plane.
Be Tom Brady...What's your football? is it your bomb? your flag? or maybe your Zeppelin..(cuz ya know some footballs got helium!)...
When I take off I always look to see who and where my team is in front, behind or beside me..use your screen to do a 360 if you have a touch screen. I then position myself opposite for example,If you are flying high and to my left I will go low and to right etc...if there are 2 or more of my team with me I try to "triangulate" my position...again, opposite of where my teamates are.
My main objective for this is it's harder for the enemy to have fast target acquisition of ME...if you are close or on the same horizon point as your wingman, its easy for the enemy to acquire you after he shoots your wingman. Its much harder for him to drop down at an angle and acquire you.
Always change it up too, this throws off their anticipation on the next run.
I'm very aware of my surroundings in life and it reflects in my gameplay and so I use it to my advantage considering I seem to be carrying rubber bullets typically!
Playing chicken thru the V.O.D. is old and gets old quickly.
*Pay attention to your wingmen.
*Pay attention to your position.
*Pay attention to which RED is NOT in the next run.If they are missing they're sneaking..I will often self destruct, climb to 400 or so feet, circle and wait...
*Use the landscape!
*Don't forget your objective.
*My number one piece of advice is BE the Quarterback! Play it like Football! NEVER the same play twice!!!

Blue my friend, truly enjoy your posts. Glad to see the concept of bringing some positive aspects to the game being kept alive.

Maybe we should change the HOH to Blue Fighter's School of Flight!

Happy New Year My Friend!!

When you are working an angle laterally or vertically, aim you rounds into the same line as the enemy then adjust right to left or up and down until you score hits. You usually land 4 in a row quickly.

Df elite has some ballistic drop. You will need to compensate a little for distance shooting now.

Being someone that prefers ACM and BFM over the nose-to-nose long range gunfight, I was happy to see this :) . . . until I realized it also has an impact on turning fights if you're not right on top of your target. Still prefer the bullet drop, but I liked it a lot more before I realized physics was a two way street.
