Great stuff Blue! I love flying in formation..however, I don't like flying too close to my team, especially on the same horizontal plane.
Be Tom Brady...What's your football? is it your bomb? your flag? or maybe your Zeppelin..(cuz ya know some footballs got helium!)...
When I take off I always look to see who and where my team is in front, behind or beside me..use your screen to do a 360 if you have a touch screen. I then position myself opposite for example,If you are flying high and to my left I will go low and to right etc...if there are 2 or more of my team with me I try to "triangulate" my position...again, opposite of where my teamates are.
My main objective for this is it's harder for the enemy to have fast target acquisition of ME...if you are close or on the same horizon point as your wingman, its easy for the enemy to acquire you after he shoots your wingman. Its much harder for him to drop down at an angle and acquire you.
Always change it up too, this throws off their anticipation on the next run.
I'm very aware of my surroundings in life and it reflects in my gameplay and so I use it to my advantage considering I seem to be carrying rubber bullets typically!
Playing chicken thru the V.O.D. is old and gets old quickly.
*Pay attention to your wingmen.
*Pay attention to your position.
*Pay attention to which RED is NOT in the next run.If they are missing they're sneaking..I will often self destruct, climb to 400 or so feet, circle and wait...
*Use the landscape!
*Don't forget your objective.
*My number one piece of advice is BE the Quarterback! Play it like Football! NEVER the same play twice!!!
