A few years ago, a mother and father decided they needed a break, so they wanted to head out for a night on the town. They called their most trusted babysitter. When the babysitter arrived, the two children were already fast asleep in bed. So the babysitter just got to sit around and make sure everything was okay with the children. Later that night, the babysitter got bored and went to watch TV, but she couldn’t watch it downstairs because they did not have cable downstairs (the parents didn’t want children watching too much garbage). So, she called them and asked them if she could watch cable in the parent’s room. Of course, the parents said it was ok, but the babysitter had one final request… she asked if she could cover up the angel statue outside the bedroom window with a blanket or cloth, at the very least close the blinds, because it made her nervous. The phone line was silent for a moment, and the father who was talking to the babysitter at the time said, “Take the children and get out of the house… we will call the police. We do not have an angel statue.”

The police found all three of the house occupants dead within three minutes of the call. No angel staue was ever found.

One time, 32 years ago, my mom was babystitting her neighbor's three kids. She went over to the house at around 9:00, just before the parents were going to go out for a night on the town. They told my mom that they'd be back around 1:00. They left after telling her that the kids were in bed upstairs, and that if any of them woke up, they'd come downstairsand ask for a glass of milk, and the other normal babystitting stuff. She sat down to watch TV, and after about an hour, she got a call on the phone.

"Gooo upstaaaaaiiiirrssss...... Goooo uppppsssstttaaaiiiirrrrss...."

She hung up, assuming it was just a crank call.

Half an hour later, the phone rang again.

"Gooooo upppssttaaaaiiirrrsss..... Goooo uppppsstttaaaaiirrssssss......"

She laughed and hung up, then went back to her program.

Fifteen minutes later,

"Goooo uppppstaaiiiirrssssss..... Gooooo uuppppsssstaaaaiiiirsss..."

She hung up, and dialed the opperater. She told the opperator that she had been getting some creepy phone calls, and asked if she could tell her where the were coming from. The operator paused for a moment, then came back on the line, terrified.

"Get out of the house. NOW. The calls are coming from upstairs

Thats also where the medical profession got the red cross from, houses that had people with the plague had a red cross painted on their door to let others know of the medical crisis within.

Ok I've heard stories like that before
