I have a galaxy s4. It loses connection right after each game starts.

wanted to know why we are not getting connected at random game , the application and free and not working , should warn for players who are paid accept this and dirty with the players.

ok im not sure if this question should be in this thread or not: but its keeping me from playing so here goes. about a week and a half ago: I was unable to play multiplayer because of new update and un maching version. Scince ther is no update bouton on my windows store: I disinstalled the app in order to reinstall the new version. But to my great dismay: whene I came to install it back I realized that no aps install from the windows store (btw i'm pretty sure the two events are not related: just that I rarely use the store so I only noticed then). So now im stuck and I can't reinstall the app on my pc. So I was wondering if there is any other way to install the app? can I acces an installer or a zip with the game some place else than on the windows store? Im on a desktop pc.

to update an app using windows store (8.1) proceed as follows:
1> open the Store
2> hit window+c or swipe the right hand side of the screen for a touch device (in short, open the charms bar)
3> select Settings
4> in Settings you will find the option to update the apps


in case you are not able to install the app from the store, then it is possible that the store is not picking the login information from your OS. in that case, try the following:

1> open the store
you will notice on the top bar you have option of Home, Top Charts, Categories, Collections, Account
2> click account
3> click my account

check if you are logged in with your registered email id. if not, then click change user and manually enter your windows login details and then the store will have your windows user credentials.

Note: if you are not able to rate and review and app you previously installed, then also follow the "change user" procedure and you will be able to do it.

that's what worked for me. no guarantees or liabilities.

Thanks for all that info! sadly... I learnt how to late! So now im trying to re install it. And sorry but I don't have facebook and can't. All I would need is a link to download the dogfight app latest version from elsware than the windows store. Once again: Thanks all for your help! I wasent expecting this many answeres!

Hi,

Since I updated 2 days ago when I play multiplayer, after I choose my plane, when I click to play it frezzes on the next black screen. The numbers count down from 7 to 0 but then nothing happens. The music stops and it just freezes.
I use a PC with Windows 8.
What can I do?

any idea for Android phone.

science 1 mth i got new updates but when try to open the df, he screen shows only optimization bar and its look like a screen get hang,
No further movement, no music.

i need to restart the phone for log out form df.

thank you all for your support: especially armament and chopper 15: I got it working again! I basically changed my tether app, disabled sky drive dropbox and all those automatic things that always make bugs, loged out: and singed back in to my Microsoft account and bam! worked!

Reboot your computer, it seems your store has a problem.
Also, remember you need Windows 8.1, not Windows 8.0. Windows 8.1 is a free update from Microsoft.

thanks zup: had done all of that: dident work. I think it was a problem with dropbox and google drive trying to upload stuff, but not managing because im using tether and the server dident grant permission or something like that. So they were buging everything: doing ass if to use the band. I took them of and loged out and back in to Microsoft store: and it worked! BTW im having probloms in the game aiming: because whene people have long names and it says for example: supper flying toaster shot down by [AOV] The Red-Baron, thene the chat text comes all the way right infront of my plane so I cant see enemy planes well through the text: and its very hard to aim. I asked people If there was a way to change the text size; many told me to change name tag size. But that obv only changed the name tags. So I was wondering: is there any way to make the text smaller? or is ther a problem with my fonts? Do you need screen shots?

Trying to play from the Windows store says I need win 8 I have 10. It worked before now it loads to the first screen with the logo the crash. Did u install and reload still same problem any suggestions

I just logged in and played from the Windows 10 Store, so I'm guessing it's something of do with the copy to the store on your system. Try uninstalling the game, shutdown your system for a minute, then reboot and reinstall the game.

You may have already done it that way, but if you did the uninstall/reinstall without rebooting in between, your system can hang on to code from the old install.

i was able to get it by rolling back my AMD Radeon(TM) R5 Graphics driver. i want the newsiest version if possible, but this works for now.

Interesting. You might want to send Zup your system specs, and a description of both the problem and how you fixed it. It might be something re-creatable; if he can find the conflict he might be able to fix it.

Zuperman, I have been having problems with getting game crashes for the past several months where the game just quits and I want to get back on my home screen. I'm on a iPad air and I have tried reloading the game about three times but the same problem keeps coming up. I'm using v 9.2.1. Any suggestions?

Still happening! Kind of frustrating. Was in a game just now for about 3 or 4 minutes and then whammo, I'm back on my tablet home page.
