I saw the rubber duck when I was flying up but when I got there I didn't see it. Here is what I did see:

I know this from McFate: There was a player called "DUCKWING 1". Supposedly he was a veteran from the war in Iraq who had been wounded by an IED. He lost both legs and one arm. He found the game while he was in the hospital and played with one hand. He had something rigged up to help hold his tablet, no one knows how he bombed but he was pretty good. As his condition worsened he was able to play less. The last time he was on his nurse supposed signed him in and pulled his plane to the side of the runway and typed his goodbyes. There was no world chat then. The nurse checked in a few days later to say he had passed. Many people decided that the mountain behind north base should be named "Duckwing" in his honor and about a year later Zup made the monument, with the duck inside.
