BEST RIFLE SHOOTER CHUTE OR GROUND
Who do you think is the Best Marksman? Looking for that Pilot who is just as if not more deadly firing their Rifle while under chute. Or the one that takes out your plane before jumping into their Tank.

Sub Categories

The first 5 Sub Categories will be:

1. Best Tank Driver

2. Best Rifle Shooter Chute or Ground

3. Best Entertainer In Game

4. Best

5. Best New Pilot


IMPORTANT:
Separate threads have been created for each category to ease the compilation process.
Please vote under the respective thread categories.

• Each Month Sub Categories will be released each week. Voting will last for 10 days.
• During this period everyone will be allowed to vote for 3 people per category.
• You cannot vote for yourself.
• Please use the Players full in game / forum name, include their Squad name if applicable.
• This will help avoid confusion of names. If necessary we will send you a PM to clarify.
• If you select more than 3 people, we will use the first 3 names in your post.
• When making your votes we urge you to consider, game play, skill, attitude, and participation in the game, forum, and Dogfight Community.
• After voting ends on each thread names will be compiled.
• We will then present the top ten members from each category.
• Their names will be added to the Hall of Honor under the category for the Month.
• The 2 members with the highest vote total of all 5 categories will win a nomination for the Best of the Best category.

• Nominations for the Best of the Best will begin on the 1st of every Third Month and will last for 10 days.
• Each person can nominate 3 people.
• Please use members full in game / forum name.
• If you nominate more than 3 people, we will take the first 3 names in your post.
• At the end of the nomination period the 4 highest vote totals plus the 2 Nominees from the Sub Categories will be presented for voting.
• Once voting begins everyone will be allowed to vote for 3 of the nominees.
• You cannot vote for yourself.
• The voting period will last for 14 days.
• If you cast multiple votes, again, we will use the first name in your post.
• At the conclusion of the voting period, votes will be tallied and the 4 Inductees will be announced on the nomination / voting thread.


• Their names will be added to the Official Hall of Honor list.
• They will also be given a badge to add into their signature identifying them as a Member of the Hall of Honor.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• There will not be a "Hall of Shame". This Hall is totally focused on the positive aspects and influences of the game and Players.
• Second, in the event of a tie in either category, World Rank will decide the winner.

Is there a way to grab a list of names for level 20 down through 18ish? I'd love to nominate someone, but I'm not sure who is at what level.

If I saw a list, then I could be like, "Oh, ya! That pilot kicked my butt the other day."

I'm sure there are many of us forumers like me in this regard.

I can't list my top 3 picks of those pilots level 20 or under.. why you ask? Because I am trying to recruit them!! ( and doing that would give other squadrons the benefit of my recruiting search lol! )

Maybe a higher lvl cap? Lvl 27 is still only halfway to moraf. Leveling up from 29 to 30 probably takes more points than 1-20, but that's just a guess.

Ok, after several PM's and comments. It appears that maybe we should re-think this category a little.
So here is What we will do, in order to make this subject more fair and easier for everyone, including ourselves as we will have to verify each nominee. We will place this Category on hold and replace it with our next planned category.
THIS IS NOW BEST RIFLEMAN CHUTE OR GROUND.
We will re-introduce the new Pilot category after we have done some more research into the criteria!

For best chute, i would choose hulk, gaw, and rodama(kills in chute before tank finishes it off )

Ok after yet a couple more PM's the topic has been changed from Rifleman to Rifle Shooter to be politically correct LOL! My apologies to all who may have taken offense. All votes in this category still count only the name was changed!

I think everyone is rather well in a chute, but 1 person i remember started the whole soldier shooting when it was relatively unheard of. Around the time foust started tanking....

Blue MaX started shooting with his soldier while on the ground. He got to the point, no matter where u are, if he could see u, he could actually shoot u, there was 48 rounds back then and only 2 shots to kill, if ur in the chute, but once u became a soldier on the ground, i believe it changed to 5 hits to kill, and blue could take out anyone yhat ventured anywhere near him. A lot of people, including me, tried to start ground shooting, but no one was able to come anywhere near the skill Blue MaX had. His reason for using a chuter instead of a tank was the well known and hated 2 screen glitch, which would render u useless in a game and had to leave to fix it.

Yeah, BlueMaX started what he called 'MOMfantry' lol! He was definitely deadly and led the way to the current crop of deadly infantry!

The other 2 deadly chute shooters I'll vote for are Davy & Hulkypoo.. both deadly.. although there are TONS of other deadly chute shooters out there I believe they accounted for more of my deaths than all the others combined lol!

Think we threw out another tough one!
My choices are,
B.52. ( taught me a sniper lesson the hard way )
Pie of Jerry ( couple mid air gun battles where his aim was better )
And the Mighty Von Hulk ( he is just good at everything! )

Yall have now shot down my infantry tactic.. i used to be #2 on the ground..
When it was only 2 shots, i used to just stad there ****ing everyone off cause they didn't have time to shoot me.. now take 4 shots and the rifle shoots slow >.<

8 Days left to vote on this thread. Think back to before the number of hits required changed and you could shoot down a plane easily. Think about those mid air gun fights between you and another Pilot in a chute!

I think he was referring to the old split screen glitch and that he played as infantry rather than get into a tank. Never experienced, but my understanding is if you tried to tank the screen split and you had to leave the game to correct it. Sounds as if he managed to use the rifle and being a small target to his advantage.

Bluemax , used too hit me as a noob from across map lol, ...khemist ace is great too, and cc rider used to get me...all the time

Bogus, many players don't have the option to shoot while on the ground.I killed a pilot in plane inside a ship ,then he killed me while walking in the ship and he even said it was a cheap shot.Am I mad cuz I dont have the option,YES a little.
