Capture the Flag Mission

-- One can see light emitting from the enemy base on start of the game to let us know the location of red flag.

-- There will be one flag in each base.

-- We have to reach enemy base and get their flag by touching the flag not the beam.

-- No need to land to touch the flag, just touch it on the fly and it gets attached to your plane tail.

--Now we have to get the enemy flag to our base without getting shot down otherwise the flag will return back to the enemy base.

-- You can drop the carried flag anywhere in between the two bases (by clicking the flag icon on top of screen) before crashing or shot down to avoid it going back to enemy base. It means, if before crashing you release the flag, it will stay wherever it is dropped so that another ally pilot can pick it up from that location.

-- The flag can be picked in mid air by touching the same.

-- The flag will emit beam from the location where it touch the ground.

-- the red team can re-capture the flag by touching the same and it will go back to their base.

-- If you crash along with the flag, the flag will return back to enemy base. The ally pilots’ mission is now to protect the flag-bearing plane to reach safely at ally base and land safely and cross over the blue flag to finish the mission.

--If flag drops on to the sea, it will return back to enemy base. So be sure you drop the flag on ground not on water in case of crashing or for any reason.

--The team having both flags will win the game.

I have not been in a ctf game yet.

Could you specify any difference between what happens when 'crashing' and being shot down?

What I mean to say if you got hits but still not down you can drop the flag but when you crashed or out in chute the flag will be back to enemy base.

As per Zuperman, he will add mission only when all including Apple devices get the latest update. Till then he manually start the mission on any server if he too is available either in game or in world chat.

If someone is very high, does the beam of light go down to the ground, or just up to the sky? In other words, can a pilot at much lower altitude see the beam of light from the flag carrier way up high? Is there any signal on the radar that signifies who is carrying the flag?

I'm looking forward to trying it, but I have a concern that this scenario will make for a very, very long match. What are the point values for the win? Are there points for touching the flag? Are there more points for shooting down the flag holder?

The mission is not fully defined as we are testing it from time to time with whoever connects at the same time that me.

Answering your questions: touching the flag gives it to you, it doesn't matter the speed. You can also pick it mid air if other plane dropped it.
Touch the enemy flag returns it to the base.

Now, I think the games in fact will last for a long long long time. I haven't seen anyone get the flag yet without asking for a "hey, let the team get it so we can all see it". Probably I will relocate the flags so instead of in the base, maybe near the base but not so near that it makes it almost impossible.

@finn, yeah you can see the beams of light from any place in the game. There is no indication on the map but the carrier of the flag leaves a trace when flying so it is easy to spot. On the other hand he can go far and hide from you, so you have to be watching for the flag porter.

maybe the flags start on each sides carrier....

Yday i have played with you n net was sucked so i left,
But still i have confusion

Shall i bomb the ship to end the game when others are trying to capture or protect the Flag..?

Theme is understand that capture the flag and take it to our base and collect two flag in your pocket,, simple

That game was capture the carrier but we requested Zuperman to show us the CTF game in world Chat. He asked us to join him messi where CTC was going on.

Till all get the latest update including Apple devices, he is running the CTF mission manually to just give a review of the mission. That's why I was asking everybody to stop shooting. Nobody listened to Zuperman so he kicked 1-2 players. Then he explained the whole mission.
