Summary of text codes commonly used in game. (Contributions by various members)
Please don't add to this post unless it's a genuine one I have missed out.

b = back (from wherever they went when they said brb)
brb = be right back
btb = bomb the base (mission type)
btc = bomb the carrier (mission type)
ctc = capture the carrier (mission type)
cya = see you later
df = dogfight
dt = diner time
gg = Good Game (appreciate team work and opponent attitude)
gj = Good Job (felicitation for team work)
gs = Good Strike or Good Shot (appreciate opponent kill)
gtg= got to go
lmbo = laugh my butt off
lol = lots of laughs
n1 = nice one!
np = No Problem (accept excuses for friend shot)
ns = nice save (like if you get shot just as your about to bomb)
ns = Nice Strike or Nice Shot (appreciate opponent kill)
nvm = nevermind
ooa = out of ammo
otw or omw = on the way or on my way
oys = on your six
r = Are
rtb = returning to base (or return to base)
sk = spawn kill
sry = Sorry (excuse for friend shoot)
thx= Thanks
tk = team kill
ty = Thank You
u = You
wd = Well done i.e. English translation of gj
wt = wafel time
yum = satisfaction, liking, pleasure (miam french, nam? spanish)
yw = your welcome
zep = zeplin

GH (go high)
SH (sneaker high)
SE/W/N/S(sneaker east, west, north or South)
FFS (for f*ck sakes, when people keep crashing on runway/carrier or taking a nap at or just in front of "spawn-spot" of runway/ carrier, or when game is going all wrong for your team)
ROR (reloading/repairing on runway, so look out when taking off)
ROC (reloading/repairing on carrier)
TCC (take carrier close)
TCF (take carrier far)

TLE FV ( take left engine frontal view - zep mission) TRE FV
LED FV (left engine down frontal view) RED FV, also replace FV (frontal view) with RV (rear view) if you don't have time to think lol
GNB (got no bomb, when flying to red base and you dropped bomb already)
LT (leave tank)
LAT (leave all tanks)
NT ((do) no( t)(take)tank, when in an outnumbered game and you see your only teammate in chute)
GOML get off my lawn

Another one came up several times in games recently, I had to look it up, so maybe others need help to.

DEF = defence/defend
ATM = at the moment
GL = going left change to r for going right
TC = team chat
FS = fu*k sake
WC = world chat
SC = squad chat

The internet acronym for the words 'shake my head'. Usually used when disappointed in someone/something.

I always thought wc was water closet a old British toilet aka a bog/Loo/shit house also aka is also known as lol
